The UK Boerboel Club ("UKBC") is the national breed club, it acts as a single point of reference within Britain, offering comprehensive information to owners and prospective owners.

We are affiliated to the SABT, the oldest and largest South African breed club, and liaise with them on behalf of UK members.   We organise events through the year and circulate a newsletter.   

We are compiling a database of Boerboels with as much health information as we can gather.  We hope, in time, to be able to identify inheritance patterns of certain health problems and to monitor the health of our breed.  This can only benefit everyone who cares about the Boerboel.

In the short term we can also help with pedigrees and breeding data such as inbreeding co-efficients.  We can also put UK and Irish owners in touch with each other so that they can compare notes on how litter-mates are developing.
